Anderson Joseph Peters, 16, of Ferdinand passed away Monday November 4th at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. Anderson was born on December 11, 2002 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He was a junior at Forest Park High School, and worked at Shamrock Cabinets. He was a member of Forest Park Class of 2021. Anderson was a member of Christ the King Parish, Saint Ferdinand Church, Spencer County 4-H, and a member of Forest Park Wrestling Team. He was an avid University of Michigan and Saint Louis Cardinals fan. He loved his dog Oreo and driving around in his truck.

Surviving are his mother, Gaynell Peters of Ferdinand, one sister, Marlena Peters of Ferdinand. His maternal grandmother, Pearline Peters of Evanston. Aunts & uncles, Michael Peters of Evanston, Christine Peters of Evanston & Brian (Elisa) Peters of Lamar. Cousins, Megan Wimsatt, Jacob , Eddison , Luke , Xia , Sadie , and Katie Peters.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 9th in Saint Ferdinand Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9:00 PM Friday and from 7 to 9:30 AM Saturday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a favorite charity. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
