If you’re a bookworm, the Ferdinand Branch Library has an event worth reading into this weekend.

Friends of the Ferdinand Library are hosting their Second Saturday Basement Book Sale.

A vast array of books will be available for purchase, including children’s books, holiday cookbooks, decorating and craft books, inspirational books, and Christmas novels.

All books are alphabetized by author.

If you’re looking for a specific author or nonfiction topic, you can ask a Friend at the sale for help.

Other items for sale include puzzles, games, DVDs, and audiobooks.

There is also a special table full of first editions and autographed books.

The library is asking all sale attendees to enter from the main floor of the library or through the north side doors off of the Community Center parking lot.

All hardback books are $1 and paperbacks are $0.50 cents. Children’s books, puzzles, games, and special books have various prices.

Donations of gently-used books and puzzles are always welcome and appreciated.

All profits from the sale go towards adults, children, and teen activities at the library.

If you’re interested in joining the Friends of the Ferdinand Library, membership pamphlets and information is available at the main library desk.

The book sale takes place this Saturday, December 14th. from 10 am to 1 pm at the Ferdinand Branch Library.
