A couple in Knox County was arrested yesterday after police found over 200 grams of drugs in their home.

Monday morning, Troopers with the Indiana State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant on 38-year-old Nicole Benson of Oaktown. She had an active warrant out of Gibson County for Felony Theft.

When officers arrived at Benson’s residence, they saw that Benson and her boyfriend, 32-year-old Stanley Eck were inside.

Officers found a meth pipe, along with 76 grams of methamphetamine, 9.5 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 164 grams of marijuana, and dozens of various legend drugs.

Both Benson and Eck were arrested and booked in the Knox County Jail.

Benson was charged with dealing in methamphetamine, dealing in psychedelic mushrooms, possession of methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, unlawful possession of a legend drug, unlawful sale of a legend drug, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eck was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
