William “Bill” Hazelton, age 59, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at his residence.

He was born November 10, 1956, to Clyde and Grace (Henson) Hazelton. Bill was an avid genealogist. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Beverly (Hazelton) Sims; and one nephew, Robert “Bobby” Sims.

He is survived by:

His mother,
Grace Hazelton of Petersburg, Indiana;
His brother,
Larry (Judith) Hazelton of Tyler, Texas;
Two nephews and one niece,
David (Ashley) Sims of Petersburg, Indiana,
Brian Hazelton of Tyler, Texas,
Amy Hazelton of Tyler, Texas;
by one great niece and five great nephews.

Graveside services for William Hazelton will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at the Hazleton Cemetery in Hazleton, Indiana. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com.
