David W. Vinson, age 62, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Tuesday (October 25, 2016) at home.

david-vinsonDavid was born in Princeton, Indiana on June 9, 1954 to Thomas W. And Glenna Sue (Taggert) Vinson. He married Doris Persohn on April 21, 1979 in Petersburg, Indiana.

David was a truck driver for Mulzer Crush Stone.

He retired from the Jasper Fire Department, was an Indiana Fire Instructor, and was a member of IVFA District #18, the Petersburg Moose Lodge #1617, the Jasper Outdoor Recreation, and the Indiana Master Truck Drivers Association.

He enjoyed camping and spending time in service for the community and with his family.

Preceding him in death are his father, Thomas W. Vinson and one brother Thomas R. Vinson.

Funeral services for David W. Vinson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (October 29, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor Boyd will officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday (October 28, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. The Jasper Fire Department and the IVFA District #18 will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. and the Petersburg Moose #1617 will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Both will be at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
