Tomorrow TRI-CAP will celebrate Giving Tuesday along with other not-for-profit organizations around the world.

Now if you’re not familiar, Giving Tuesday is a designated day of giving, following the shopping buzz of days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It is a day to reflect on the good that can be done in the world and to commit to doing your part to make a difference in the lives of others.

Executive Director Joyce Fleck says with health, housing, and education services, TRI-CAP improves communities and changes lives. They have been serving the communities in which we live for 50 years! Founded in 1966 with the vision of being a force of change in the world, TRI-CAP continues to give resources, hope, and compassion to those who need it most.

Fleck says now it is your turn to make a difference as folks are asked to participate in Giving Tuesday.

First decide what you are able to give and make a donation to TRI-CAP tomorrow by giving $10, $20, $50, $100, or even more. As a bonus, those giving $100 or more may be eligible to receive half of their donation back through a NAP tax credit.

Fleck says any donations are greatly appreciated and the money raised from Giving Tuesday will help the programs they have and will do even more for the people they serve.

All donations can be made payable to TRI-CAP and dropped off or mailed to any of their locations.
