As part of AT&T’s continuing efforts to drive economic development and investment in  Indiana, AT&T and local officials announced this week that Lincoln Commerce Center, in Spencer County has been certified as being AT&T* Fiber Ready.

AT&T Indiana employees have introduced fiber that delivers high-speed Internet access as well as AT&T investing nearly $1.7 billion over the last 3 years alone, enabling Hoosiers to connect.

Connectivity is vital to new employers and existing businesses of every type. Economic development leaders must be able to tout the presence of high-speed internet  connectivity.

State Sen. Mark Messmer expressed that “With this new designation that highlights Lincoln Commerce Center’s state-of-the-art technology, both Rockport and the facility itself will have competitive advantages when talking to potential companies about their needs.”

Lincoln Commerce Center is home to six nonprofit organizations serving Spencer County:  Lincolnland Economic Development Corp., Spencer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Spencer County Foundation Alliance, WorkOne Spencer County, Southern Indiana Resource Solutions and Habitat for Humanity.

Space is currently available within the center for both nonprofits and commercial ventures.
