Indiana Republicans could soon embrace same sex marriage.

The state party is set to meet for its annual convention this week in Evansville.

One of the items to be voted on is a new marriage platform.

Some Republicans want to remove the language in the party platform that refers to marriage as only between a ‘man and a woman.’

Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer says the idea for the change came from delegate ‘listening sessions.’
