A Jasper driver was in pain after storm debris caused an accident along CR 300 North.

63-year-old Robert Eckert of Jasper was driving his 1995 Chevy truck yesterday traveling west on County Road 300 North. When an afternoon severe storm caused a tree to fall in the roadway.

Eckert struck the tree causing the front end to be caught trapping him inside the vehicle. A local farmer helped to remove the tree from the roadway with a backhoe.
