Due to a rise in flu cases, hospitals all across the area have implemented visitor restrictions.

Members of the Community Patient Safety Coalition say no visitors with flu like symptoms should visit hospitals.

Also no visitors under 15 are allowed and none other than immediate family or others as defined by the patients.

If you do visit wash your hands a lot while in the hospital and wear a mask when instructed.

Hospitals which have put the guideline and restrictions into place during this flu season include; Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Good Samaritan in Vincennes, all Deaconess Health Systems in the area and Gibson General in Princeton.
