A homicide investigation is currently ongoing in Warrick County.

Warrick County Sheriff’s Office says a burned body was found on Friday near the intersection of Seven Hills Road and Wasson Road.

Warrick County Chief Deputy Paul Kruse says that the body appears to be that of a white female. There is an identifiable tattoo of an orange and black frog on the top of the victim’s left foot with an oriental sign or symbol on the center of it’s back.

Today, the sheriff’s office has said that they have already been able to preliminarily identify the victim, but they are currently waiting to release the name until the identity of is confirmed.
