A Chandler man was arrested yesterday for counterfeiting.

Police made the arrest after getting a report at 3:30 am Sunday about a $100 bill appearing counterfeit. This bill was passed at a McDonald’s drive-through window at 450 US 231.

The Jasper Police Department contacted 40-year-old Jeremy F. Kirkman about the bill and took him into custody.

While arresting Kirkman, police allegedly found him in possession of a smoking pipe and marijuana.
