Firefighters responded to a small apartment fire on Jasper’s north side over the weekend.
The fire started around lunchtime Sunday at the Northern Hills Apartment Complex on Baden Strasse.
The person living in the apartment was not home at the time of the fire.
According to the Jasper Fire Department, food was left on the stove and caught fire. Officials say the damage appears to be minor.
