Deaconess Memorial Medical Center invites their caregivers and community to come together in celebration of Earth Day at their annual fun, family-friendly event on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the hospital lobby.

Hosted by the organization’s Stewardship Committee, this year’s Earth Day Celebration will feature a community showcase highlighting environmental awareness, sustainability, and local partnerships – all centered around the theme, “Our Power, Our Planet.”

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can explore booths, connect with local organizations, and learn practical ways to care for the environment.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Community showcase featuring local environmental and conservation partners
  • Free giveaways include your choice of a tomato plant or tree sapling, seedlings, and more 
  • Drawings for attendance prizes post-event
  • Educational resources on sustainability and conservation

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of community partners, including:
