Steven Alan Klem, age 61, of Huntingburg, passed away at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at his residence.

Steve Klem Obituary Photo597He was born on March 18, 1954, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Walter and Ruby (Lanman) Klem. Steven worked for the City of Huntingburg as a wastewater technician and retired from Farbest Foods where he worked in a similar capacity. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; and an avid woodworker and fisherman. Steven was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Riggles.

He is survived by:

One daughter,
Kara Klem of Holland, Ind.,
Three sisters,
Sharon (Marty) Keil of Munster, Ind.,
Becky (Denny) Hohler of Jasper, Ind.,
Rhonda Klem of Lake Station, Ind.,
Three brothers,
Dave (Sandy) Klem of Huntingburg, Ind.,
Doug (Beth) Klem of Huntingburg, Ind.,
Kurt (Cindy) Klem of Indianapolis, Ind.,
And two grandsons,
Colin Klem and Connor Klem.

Funeral services for Steven Alan Klem will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, March 21, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., on Sunday. A parish prayer vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday evening, at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
