A Huntingburg man was placed under arrest and another was cited after they were found to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia over the weekend at the Jasper WalMart store.

Just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon Jasper Police were called to the northside super center after receiving a complaint of a man under the influence, trespassing and refusing to leave the store when asked.

Police say the man 24-year old Josh Blume was found in a vehicle passed out along with a second male identified as 19-year old Logan Schmitt of Huntingburg.

Police say Schmitt had drug paraphernalia and also synthetic marijuana in plain view in the car.

Schmitt was taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

Blume was cited by police for possession of paraphernalia.
