A reported fight at a Jasper hotel early this morning lead to the arrest of a Jasper man and woman on a number of charges including possession of marijuana, possession of meth and possession paraphernalia among other charges.

Just before 1 o’clock this morning Jasper Police were called to the Super 8 Hotel located along highway 231 near the crossing in Jasper.  Police say an altercation between 20-year old Chelsea Pate and 30-year old Adam Pryor had broken out in one of the hotel’s rooms.

When police arrived they found that both Pate and Pryor were impaired and the two became belligerent with officers.

Police obtained a search warrant in order to search the room where they found meth and marijuana.

Both were taken to the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper where they were charged with possession of Marijuana, possession of a syringe, possession of methamphetamine’s, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
