Inspired to create a place with a community atmosphere yet bring elements of innovation was the blueprint for both Barry Dunlop and Josh Premuda who introduced BREW café and restaurant on Labor Day, last week.

Business partners Dunlop, from the country of Ireland, and Premuda, from Ohio, met through their wives, who are both from Jasper. Dunlop elaborates on blending both his catering crafts with Premuda’s coffee brewing skills to conceptualize BREW.

Dunlop adds that the influence of the food is mid-west American with a bit of Irish and says that the combination of German-Irish food brings dishes such as Scotch Egg, Bangers’N Mash, and much more with fresh ingredients.

Brittany Becher wife of Barry also provided insight on supporting organizations such as the LEADs fundraiser campaign.

Becher notes that returning to Jasper was a great choice for them and they are excited to bring a big city feel to Jasper but still create a home town atmosphere for the community.
