The seven southern Indiana wineries that comprise the Hoosier Wine Trail including, River City, Indian Creek, Scout Mountain, Blue Heron, Monkey Hollow, Pepper’s Ridge, and Mystique Winery will hold a free wine tasting event beginning at 4:30 pm (central) and lasting through the performance of big band and jazz classics by the Cool City Band that will begin at 7 central Saturday, September 24th.

Indianapolis-based Cool City Band has collaborated with some of the most respected institutions and corporations across the Midwest and will play favorites from the ‘Great American Songbook,’ including well known songs by Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, and other great artists. They’ll also perform great party tunes from the ‘Horn Bands’ of the 70s right through today’s hit tunes, classic rock and roll, and Motown songs.  Tickets for the event are $12 for general admission and $19 for VIP which includes preferred parking and seating, a free drink voucher redeemable in the concessions building, a souvenir wine glass, and a commemorative poster and can be purchased online at LincolnAmphitheatre.com.
