Officials with the Ireland Water Utilities say a Water Main break has occurred in the Ireland area and as a result a boil order has been issued for residents and customers who live in an area from County Road 500 West South from Ireland Elementary to County Road 150 North, North from Superior Ag.
Those affected are asked to bring their water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes before using it for drinking or cooking. Also use caution when doing laundry.
Utility officials say the boil order for that area in Ireland is in place until further notice.
