The Jasper Municipal Water Utilities announced Sunday morning, July 9th that the Neighborhood Boil Order along East 15th Street had been extended at least another 48 hours.
The Neighborhood Boil Order Advisory on 15th Street impacts residents between Greene and Royal Streets including addresses 703 through 818 E 15th Street.
A boil water advisory is issued when some type of event has created the potential for contamination to enter the water supply. See the attached guidelines for public health regarding boil orders.
City officials will be testing water samples over the next few days to determine when the water is safe to consume.
