Two men were arrested on Friday night in Ferdinand and jailed after a complaint of unwanted visitors between friends.

On Friday night just before 10 pm Ferdinand police received a complaint in reference to an unwanted visitor in a residence at 624 West 9th St. in Ferdinand. As police responded to the address they found 21 year old Allen Hutchens and 32 year old Jason Racicot who had been smoking Methamphetamine together.

One of the men reached a heightened level of activity and anxiety due to the drug and the other became uncomfortable and nervous and wanted the friend removed from the residence by police.

Both were arrested and charged then taken to the Dubois County Security Center. Ferdinand Police were assisted by the Indiana State police and the DCSD officers along with Memorial EMS.

The two men are no longer friends.
