Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an Off Road Vehicle accident that took the life of a former Jasper man.

Authorities say 26-year old Michael Salb a 2010 graduate of Jasper High School who was living in Martinsville was operating his Polaris Razor side by side on his property off Gose Creek Rd.

Conservation officiers say while attempting to operate the ORV downhill, the unit rolled on its side, pinning Salb underneath.

They say a passenger on the ORV called 911 and attempted to remove the ORV from Salb. When EMS arrived on scene, Salb was unresponsive. He was declared deceased at short time later.
