With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about how children will eat healthy while school is out. In conjunction with the Tri-State Food Bank, the North Spencer School Corporation provides free meals to children during the summer at Chrisney Elementary School and David Turnham Education Center.

Summer meals will be offered at both Chrisney Elementary School and David Turnham Education Center every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm CST, June 4 – August 2, 2018. There is no cost to attend.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations, to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. Anyone age 18 or younger may come and eat.
