After a fatal two vehicle crash around 7:30 this morning, State highway 56 west of Crystal closed for nearly 7 hours.

Twenty-nine year old Steven Charles Arnold of Paoli was pronounced dead at the scene.

Forty-two year old Kimberly Robbins of Paoli sustained arm injuries from the crash.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by INDOT, the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department,

French Lick Police Department, and the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.

The roadway has since been reopened and all traffic restrictions have been lifted.
