No one was injured but a Huntingburg man was cited after he allegedly blew a red light and caused a two vehicle accident at a south side Jasper intersection late Thursday afternoon.

Jasper Police say around a quarter till 6 pm yesterday, Donald Neu of Huntingburg was traveling eastbound on County Road 100 South approaching the intersection with US Hwy 231 when his vehicle entered the intersection disregarding a red light.

Meanwhile a pickup driven by Janet Jackson also of Huntingburg was headed north along 231 approaching the intersection with 100 South and entered the intersection and collided with Neu’s crossover SUV.

A total of 15-hundred dollars damage was sustained in the crash.

No injuries were reported.

Jasper Police ticketed Neu for Disregarding an Automatic Traffic Signal.
