One adult female is dead after a single vehicle crash last night in Daviess County.

According to the Indiana State Police Jasper Post, a single vehicle crash on I-69 near the 68-mile marker took place. A fuel spill caused a fire.

This accident caused both lanes of traffic to be closed for multiple hours.

As of this morning, it was confirmed by ISP Jasper Post that there was one adult female who died at the scene. Notifications were made this morning. The deceased name will be made available after the autopsy which is likely to occur today or tomorrow.
