The Patoka Lake Reservoir did not reach anticipated levels since observed rain amounts were less than
forecast for the basin. The project did not reach spillway crest as predicted. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers continues to monitor the situation and is working to regain flood control storage as quickly as possible.

The lake is expected to stay above the target summer pool elevation of 536 feet for most of the summer as it will take time to regain all of its flood storage capacity. The Corps continues to work with stakeholders to reduce the lake level and to keep the community informed while managing lake releases.
