A proposed roundabout near South Spencer High School has been called off by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The proposed roundabout that was supposed to be built at the intersection of Indiana 66 and Orchard Road will not be built. However, measures are still being taken to make the intersection safer.
Due to the death of a student in 2013 at the intersection in question, multiple solutions for making the area safer for students have the proposed. Yet, nothing has come to light.
