Numbers are in for the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign for Jasper and all of Dubois County.

In just a 25-day period, JPD made 128 traffic stops, issued 189 written warnings, issued 26 traffic citations, and arrested 7 people.

JPD also worked 60 hours of overtime during this time span.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office issued 33 traffic citations and arrested one person during the mobilization campaign.

About 230 law enforcement agencies across the state joined the thousands nationwide in increasing roving patrols, saturation patrols, and sobriety checkpoints.

The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration funds that are distributed by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
