A new event is coming to the Ferdinand Public Library this weekend, and it may be worth a tweet or two.

“Attracting Birds to Backyard Feeding Stations” is a unique event where people can learn about how to attract local birds to their own backyards.

Founder of the Golden Sparrow Nature Society and author, Ken Barnes, is hosting the nature program and will share his love and knowledge of birds and animals.

Barns will answer questions and encourages people to bring photos of birds and animals they cannot identify.

Door prizes include a Birdfeeder, and one of Barn’s recent books, “Saving Wildlife”.

This family-friendly nature program takes place on Saturday, October 26th from 10 to 12 eastern at the Ferdinand Public Library.
