Tell City Police officers are now equipped with body cameras.

The new equipment came in last month.

Officers say going over footage and analyzing how situations were handled helps them to self-critique.

Each full-time officer will be equipped with a camera.

In total, the department will have 18 systems.

All cameras are paid through the city budget. The city pays around $30,000 on a yearly leasing system.
