The Indiana State Department of Health reported 6,199 new cases of COVID-19 and 69 additional deaths on Friday.

The Hoosier State has now recorded 552,594 positive cases and 8,521 deaths since the onset of the pandemic in March.

The numbers for our listening area are as follows:

  •         Pike-  1,036 cases, 25 deaths
  •         Spencer- 1,674 cases, 15 deaths
  •         Perry –1,312 cases, 24 deaths
  •         Martin – 653 cases, 13 deaths
  •         Daviess – 2,434 cases – 70 Deaths
  •         Orange – 1,376 cases – 33 Deaths
  •         Knox- 3,074 cases, 39 deaths
  •         Crawford- 663 cases, 9 deaths
  •         Posey- 2,125 cases, 26 deaths
  •         Lawrence- 3,572 cases – 66 Deaths
  •         Gibson- 3,281 cases- 55 Deaths
  •         Warrick- 5,833 cases – 90 Deaths
  •         Vanderburgh- 17,162 cases – 207 Deaths
