Early this morning, Sunday, July 28th, 2024, the Jasper Police Department received a report of an ongoing physical fight occurring at 1441 Jackson Street.

Two male subjects were detained when officers arrived on the scene, with one identified as 45-year-old, Robert Mckinney, of Jasper.

Upon investigation, it was found Mckinney had made threats and attempted to grab another male subject. The male subject then defended themself and asked someone to call 911.

Mckinney was booked into the Dubois County Security Center and is facing charges of battery, disorderly conduct, intimidation, and public intoxication.
