The Martin County Health Department is offering additional clinic hours for students needing immunizations before the start of the school year. These clinics will be by appointment only on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 30th: 8:30 AM – Noon & 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 31st: 8:30 AM – Noon & 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, August 1st: 8:30 AM – Noon & 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, August 7th: 8:30 AM – Noon & 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

The Health Department office is located at 127 Water Street, Shoals. They are contracted with VaxCare and can bill most insurance companies that pay for vaccines. Patients must bring their insurance card to receive vaccines. The Health Department can also vaccinate children on Medicaid, the uninsured, and those with insurance that does not cover vaccines through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
