The 27th annual St. Anthony Firemen’s Fest is set to take place Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at the St. Anthoney Community Center, located at 4665 South Cross Street.
Admission to the fest is free and highlights of the day include The Show & Shine Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show, Backyard BBQ Contest, a raffle, and live music from Studebaker from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, and The Rumors performing from 9 PM to Midnight.
Concessions will be available throughout the day with hamburgers and soft drinks offered starting at 9 AM, fried chicken at 11 AM, and fried chicken dinners being served with carryout available at 4 PM. A Beer Garden will also be open starting at 3 PM.
Tasting for the Backyard BBQ Contest will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM. Anyone interested in participating can call Nick Merklry at (812)-639-3974.
Registration for The Show & Shine Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show takes place from 9 AM to Noon, costing $15 for cars and trucks, and $10 for motorcycles. Awards will given out at 3 PM for the categories of:
- Top 10 of 2014 – Newer
- Top 60 of 1900 – 2013
- Top 10 Motorcycles (All years, makes, and models)
- Special Interest
- Fire Chief’s Award
- Best of Show
Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 entries as well.
