Purdue Extension is set to host a series of online lunch-and-learn seminars called “Becoming the Employer of Choice”.

This program is geared toward current and future farm and other business managers and owners looking to improve their human resource management skills. It will include hands-on activities to engage managers and increase their awareness and ability.

These webinars are set to take place from 12 to 1 PM Eastern on Tuesdays from September 17th through October 29th.

The subjects to be covered will be:

  • September 17th – From Manager to Leader
  • September 24th – Developing a Motivated Workforce
  • October 1st – Hiring the Right People
  • October 8th – General Business Culture
  • October 15th – Strategic Leadership and Onboarding
  • October 22nd – Keeping Good Employees
  • October 29th – Managing Conflict

Program fees for the event series are $40 for all seven sessions or $10 per individual session.
