The annual Christ the King Church Picnic is set to take place this Sunday, August 25th, offering a full day of family fun and community fellowship. The event kicks off at 11:00 AM with a BBQ chicken dinner, available until sold out. The meal includes scalloped potatoes, baked beans, and bread, with both shaded outdoor seating and a drive-thru pickup option available.

In addition to delicious food, the picnic will feature kids’ games, a country store, and live entertainment by the Hagedorn Family Band. At 1:30 PM, the excitement continues with the Grand Raffle and Quilt Raffle, where 24 cash prizes totaling $6,000 will be up for grabs.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food options throughout the day, including barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and homemade desserts. Car enthusiasts can look forward to the Car Show at the St. Ferdinand Church Grounds, with registration from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and awards at 3:00 PM.
