On the afternoon of August 22nd, 2024, a Deputy was dispatched to the Gibson County Community Corrections Center to assist with an investigation. 

Upon arrival the Deputy spoke with a Community Corrections employee who informed him they observed 40-year-old, Amanda Pemberton, of Oakland City, attempting to use a device to interfere with a drug screening. 

Once the investigation was completed, Pemberton was booked into the Gibson County Jail on charges of Interfering with a drug screening and possession of a device or substance that is used to interfere with a screening test.
