Around 9 PM on Thursday, the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to a residence on CR 175 regarding a domestic battery situation. Upon arriving on scene, JPD determined the male subject, identified as 49-year-old Larry Marcum from Jasper had fled the scene on foot and was later located near Batteries Now on North Newton Street.

During the investigation, the female subject in this incident, identified as Brenda Marcum of Jasper, approached police and the victim and started making threats.

Both Marcums were arrested and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.

Larry Marcum is facing a Class A Misdemeanor Charge of Domestic Battery while Brenda Marcum is facing a Class A Misdemeanor Charge of Intimidation.
