The Crawford County Highway Department has announced that Bridge 45, commonly known as Long Bridge, located in Alton, will be temporarily closed for deck repairs beginning on or around Monday, March 3, 2025. The closure is expected to last approximately 18 days, with the bridge slated to reopen by March 21, 2025, pending any schedule changes.
