Governor Mike Braun has appointed Captain Anthony M. Scott as the 21st Superintendent of the Indiana State Police. A Rush County native and 28-year veteran of the force, Scott began his career in 1996 after graduating from the Indiana State Police Recruit School.

Throughout his career, Scott has held various leadership roles, including District Investigations Commander and Area IV Commander. In 2019, he completed advanced training at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Scott, who lives in Decatur County with his family, expressed his honor to lead the agency and work alongside Governor Braun on public safety initiatives.
