The Jasper Street Department will be collecting storm damage this week, with a few key changes to the usual requirements. During this special collection, the 4-foot length and bundling restrictions will be waived. Residents are asked to stack their limbs in an organized pile parallel to the street to minimize the need for heavy equipment to enter yards.

Please note that root balls from trees, as well as materials like shingles, building debris, and trash, will not be collected. Only tree limbs, tree trunks, and yard waste will be accepted.

In addition, the Resource Recovery Site will be operating with extended hours from March 17-21, open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturday, March 22, the site will be open from 7:00 AM until noon. This site is available exclusively to City of Jasper taxpayers and will only accept tree limbs and yard waste—trash, shingles, and building debris will not be accepted.
