The Holland Legion Riders will present the annual Strassenfest Show and Shine Car, Truck, Bike, Jeep, and Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, August 2, at the Schroeder Complex in Jasper. Registration runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST, with awards presented at 3 p.m.
Entry is $20 and includes a cup for chili tasting. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 entries. Awards will be presented to the Top 40 cars and trucks from 1999 and older, and to the Top 10 cars and trucks from 2000 and newer. Separate awards will be given across seven motorcycle classes, along with Best of Show awards for car, truck, jeep, and bike entries. A Club Participation Award will also be presented.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Chili tasting and voting costs $5 per bowl, with unlimited tasting available. Proceeds will benefit the Holland Legion Riders Chapter 343.
