A crash Tuesday morning in Pike County claimed the life of a teenage driver and left another person injured.

According to the Indiana State Police, the crash happened around 9:00 a.m. on State Road 57 just north of County Road 200 South and involved two pickup trucks that collided head on.

The Pike County Coroner’s Office says the victim was 17 year old of Glezen, who died from blunt force trauma sustained in the crash.

Another person involved in the collision was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Authorities have not released an update on that individual’s condition.
