Ownership of RE/MAX Local will soon transition to longtime agent Gwen Gosman following the sale of the brokerage by Ryan Craig and Brenda Krempp. The transaction has been fully executed by both parties and officially approved by RE/MAX, LLC, a subsidiary of RE/MAX Holdings, Inc.. The ownership change is scheduled to take effect April 1, 2026.
Gosman, a well-known real estate professional with deep ties to the Dubois County community, will assume leadership of the brokerage and oversee its continued growth while maintaining a strong focus on serving local home buyers and sellers.
The transition also carries personal significance for Gosman, who is the daughter of longtime Dubois County real estate professional Judy Gosman. Her mother’s decades of service in the local housing market played a key role in shaping Gosman’s own path in the industry and her commitment to helping families navigate the home buying and selling process.
Craig, who was recently elected mayor of Jasper, Indiana, said transferring ownership to someone already familiar with the brokerage and its community focus was an important factor in the decision. Completing the transition ahead of the start of his mayoral term will allow him to devote his full attention to serving the city while ensuring the brokerage remains in capable hands.
Krempp, who co-owned RE/MAX Local with Craig and has spent many years in the Dubois County real estate market, said the transition represents a new chapter for the brokerage while allowing her to remain active in the profession. She plans to continue working with clients and supporting the office’s team of agents while watching the company move forward under Gosman’s leadership.
Both Craig and Krempp will remain affiliated with RE/MAX Local as agents during the transition period.
Under Gosman’s leadership, RE/MAX Local will continue operating under the nationally recognized RE/MAX brand while maintaining its strong commitment to local service and community relationships throughout Jasper, Dubois County, and the surrounding region.
