Jasper Arts has announced the cancellation of the previously scheduled performance by Mandy Patinkin at the Jasper Arts Center.

According to Jasper Arts officials, the organization explored options to secure a replacement performer after Patinkin’s cancellation in an effort to provide a comparable experience for ticket holders. Despite those efforts, organizers were unable to book an artist in time who could deliver a performance of a similar caliber for patrons.

As a result, the event has been officially canceled. Refunds will be issued in the original form of purchase. The exception applies to tickets purchased online prior to September 17, which will be refunded by check. Jasper Arts will contact those patrons directly to verify the correct mailing address before checks are sent.

Patrons are asked to allow time for refunds to be processed. Anyone with questions may contact the Jasper Arts office at 812-482-3070 or by email at jasperarts@jasperindiana.gov.

Jasper Arts officials expressed their apologies for the inconvenience and thanked the public for its patience, understanding, and continued support.
