The City of Huntingburg is excited to announce the return of the 555 Fun Runs & Walks, a free community event series designed to bring people together through movement, connection, and fun.

The 555 Fun Runs & Walks feature five 5K events held at 5:00 p.m. on the second Friday of each month from May through September. These events are not timed, allowing participants to enjoy the experience at their own pace. Whether walking, jogging, or running, individuals of all ages and fitness levels are invited to take part.

Mayor Elkins states, “The 555 Fun Runs are a great way to bring people together. I remember meeting so many new faces at these events, and I am excited to see our community connect like that again.”

The series will kick off on May 8 at the Huntingburg Senior Center, located at 1860 Medical Arts Drive. Additional locations throughout the summer include City Hall and City Park, giving participants the opportunity to experience different areas of the community.

The June event will feature a special 250th celebration run, and the September event will serve as a 9/11 Honor Run. More information on these events will be released later.
