The City of Jasper is inviting residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend a public Open House celebrating the progress and draft outcomes of the City’s new Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan serves as a roadmap for Jasper’s future, guiding decisions related to growth, land use, infrastructure, economic development, and quality of life over the next decade.
This event marks a major milestone in the City’s 14-month comprehensive planning process, which began in early 2025 and included extensive community engagement, visioning sessions, and strategic planning efforts.
The Open House will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 9 to 11 AM at the River Centre, Door 9, and attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Review the draft of the Comprehensive Plan
- Learn about the planning process and community input gathered to date
- Explore strategic pillars, goals, and recommended actions
- View the Future Land Use Map and Character Areas
- Ask questions and provide feedback
- Sign up to help implement key initiatives moving forward
The event will include a formal presentation at 9 AM, followed by interactive open house stations where participants can engage directly with project materials and planning team members.
While registration is not required, residents are encouraged to sign up in advance to assist with planning. Additional information and registration details can be found by visiting the project portal at https://lab2.future-iq.com/jasper-comp-plan/.
