The Daviess-Martin CISMA is bringing their Conservation Fair back to the Downtown Washington Farmers Market on Saturday June 27th, 2026, from 8 AM to 12 PM.

This family-friendly event is free to attend, and will be set up in the Commons Event Pavilion at 310 E South Street in downtown Washington (just south of Main Street, at the corner of SE 4th Street and E South Street).

Attendees can visit a variety of conservation booths on Forestry, Wildlife, Soil Health, Water Quality, and more! Check out wildlife furs with DNR Conservation Officers, live fish from the East Fork Fish Hatchery, and tools of the trade used to control invasive plants with Glendale Fish & Wildlife Managers.

New this year, you can learn more about landscaping with native plants from the Goldfinch Native Plant Nursery. Coming from Evansville, they will be selling a variety of native wildflowers and grasses to support pollinators and wildlife.

In addition, attendees can make a nature craft to take home and enter to win door prizes, including a battery-operated pruning saw.
